Matt Riddle has shown off the wounds suffered during his battle against Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins at WWE Clash at the Castle.
Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins and Matt Riddle were initially supposed to wrestle at SummerSlam, but a kayfabe injury forced the match to be postponed. After weeks of verbal sparring and pull-apart brawls, the two finally fought one another at Clash At The Castle in Cardiff.
Towards the end of their match, Riddle tried smashing Rollin’s head in with a steel chair. As he chased Rollins back inside the ring, ‘The Original Bro’ was hit with a Curb Stomp, and the match was finished following a second Curb Stomp from the middle rope. It would now appear the two stomps really left their mark.
Riddle showed off the black eye he sustained on Twitter from his battle against Rollins. Above the photo, he included a checklist that includes getting his payback against the Visionary.

Footage of what happened after their match aired on this week’s edition of Monday Night Raw. While Rollins claimed he’s finished with Riddle, the former United States Champion said that he wants a rematch. WWE’s next major premium live event is Extreme Rules on 8 October, so it’s possible these two could end up facing one another in a gimmick match of some kind.
