Matt Hardy provided an update on his brother after Jeff Hardy was sent home from WWE live events over the weekend.

According to a report from PWInsider, Jeff Hardy was absent from the December 5th live event in Corpus Christi, TX after being sent home.

The report states that the night before, the Charismatic Enigma was part of a six-man tag team match, teaming with King Woods and Drew McIntyre against The Bloodline in the main event of the show.

Hardy took the most punishment in the match, but after tagging out, he made his way through the crowd followed by security and did not come back for the post-match celebration after his partners picked up the win. He was replaced in the match by Rey Mysterio the following night.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful confirmed the report, stating that Jeff had been sent home after what was called a “rough night.”

Unfortunately can confirm PWInsider’s report that Jeff Hardy was sent home after what was called a “rough night” for him, that became evident as last night’s live event match went on.

Best wishes to Hardy.

Speaking on his Twitch channel, Matt Hardy revealed that he’s spoken to his brother, who is currently at home and doing ok.

I did speak to Jeff for a little bit today. He’s okay. He’s good. I think he’ll be fine. once again, this isn’t my business. If he wants to go into it with more detail, he’ll do it himself. Jeff is okay. He is at home and okay.

It’s not my business or story to tell or explain. Besides that, it’s not my story to tell because it’s not my perspective. I love my brother and I want him to be okay and healthy.

Jeff Hardy last appeared on SmackDown on the December 3rd episode, teaming up with Drew McIntyre to get retribution after Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss had a laugh at their expense.
