Matt Hardy has commented on the possibility of his brother Jeff Hardy crossing the wrestling divide and joining him in All Elite Wrestling.
Former WWE United States Champion Matt Hardy made his way to AEW in March 2020 after a three-year return to WWE. After creating his Broken Universe in IMPACT Wrestling, Matt and Jeff Hardy made a pitstop in Ring Of Honor before making their incredible return to WWE at WrestleMania 33 where they captured the RAW Tag Team Championship.
Speaking on the Adam’s Apple YouTube Channel Matt Hardy first discussed AEW President Tony Khan and how AEW uses wrestling veterans and legends like himself:
“Tony Khan is great, I think he’s really on the pulse of pro wrestling in 2021, and he knows how to utilize everyone from top to bottom. They’re keeping older guys, or veterans so to say and utilizing them right while also building up talent. Wins and losses matter and they’re really taking a sports-centered approach that even I had to get used to.”
The leader of The Hardy Family Office was then asked about the possibility of Jeff Hardy joining him in yet another company. The older Hardy brother simply said:
“Fingers crossed!”
Jeff Hardy was recently embroiled in a feud with RAW newcomer and former NXT Champion Karrion Kross on RAW. He also recently competed in a WWE United States Title match where he lost to reigning champion Damian Priest.
Matt Hardy has been leading his Hardy Family Office into battle against Orange Cassidy in recent weeks. Hardy has recently intimated that he wants to shave Cassidy’s head and turn him into an “orange egghead.”
