Matt Hardy Names His “Favourite Thing On WWE Television”

Matt Hardy

Matt Hardy has revealed what his favourite current WWE storyline is, commenting that he “can’t out it over enough.”

Although Matt Hardy may have left WWE in March 2020, that doesn’t mean he’s not kept a keen eye on his former employer.

Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, the Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the tag team legend heaped praise on one current WWE Superstar, and that star is Roman Reigns.

Since returning to WWE in the summer of 2020, the current Universal Champion has seen his stock, not only in WWE, but the wrestling world in general, reach almost imaginable heights. His current run has earned him praise across the board from fans and wrestlers alike, while he now stands as the longest reigning Universal Champion in history.

When discussing Reigns, Hardy explained that he felt he had the full package, and would have loved to have faced him inside the ring.

“Yes, I really would have loved to have had a match against Roman Reigns. I like Roman Reigns immensely as a performer and also I really like him as a human being too as well, we always got along good and he’s just a real cool cat and he’s such a hard worker. He’s so smooth, he’s so handsome, he’s so charismatic and he really does have an amazing package.”

Furthermore, Hardy revealed that Reigns’ current storyline is his favourite thing on WWE television.

“The stuff he’s doing currently with him and The Usos, I mean I can’t put that over enough. It is my favourite thing on WWE television, and he’s killing it.”

While Matt Hardy is currently experiencing problems with Private Party in AEW, Roman Reigns is preparing to face Goldberg at Elimination Chamber with his prized championship on the line.

Speaking on the February 11th episode of SmackDown, Reigns said that he had nothing to fear from the WWE Hall of Famer, vowing to “Goldberg,” Goldberg.

Should Reigns retain the Universal Championship he will head to WrestleMania 38 for a highly anticipated showdown with Royal Rumble winner Brock Lesnar.
