Matt Hardy has spoken in glowing terms about the influence Bryan Danielson will have on AEW Collision.
It was recently reported that Danielson will be working backstage on Collision alongside Tony Khan, Pat Buck, Will Washington, Sonjay Dutt, and QT Marshall. The move comes after Danielson contributed to creative in his latter years with WWE, something he earned praise for.
The American Dragon has only wrestled nine times in 2023, including the chaotic Anarchy in the Arena match at Double or Nothing, and has spoken openly about being unsure how much longer his full-time career will last.
Speaking on his podcast, The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, the tag team legend was full of praise for Danielson, explaining that he’ll be “very beneficial” to the creative process.
“I definitely think that Bryan is going to be beneficial chipping in like that, especially because he just has a great wrestling mind,” Hardy said. “I don’t know where Bryan’s body is in theory, but I think as he makes the transition to being more of a creative process behind the scenes, I think he’s gonna be very beneficial because he has a great thought process for wrestling in general.”
