Matt Hardy is the latest to comment on the ongoing drama in AEW.
In case you missed it, during the All Out post-show media scrum, now-former AEW World Champion, CM Punk took the stand and didn’t waste any time in addressing his colleagues. Punk first took aim at longtime friend and Ring Of Honor star, Colt Cabana before turning his attention to the likes of ‘Hangman’ Adam Page as well as Kenny Omega, Matt, and Nick Jackson of The Elite.
Following his controversial remarks, Punk engaged in a physical altercation the aforementioned members of The Elite as well as a number of AEW employees and talent in the form of Punk’s close friend and AEW Producer, Ace Steel as well as Christopher Daniels, Brandon Cutler, Michael Nakazawa, and Pat Buck.
When speaking on his ‘Extreme Life of Matt Hardy‘ podcast, All Elite Wrestling star, Matt Hardy decided to make his voice heard on the issues between Punk and The Elite:
“It certainly took people by surprise. Especially because we did a complete refresh on the Dynamite that followed because we reset our champions. I thought Tony Khan did a good job reshuffling the deck and giving a great Dynamite. It’s going to be interesting to see what the ratings are going to be. I imagine, because there was so much buzz on AEW all week, and buzz is buzz. it makes a lot of people want to tune into AEW. I’m very curious as to what the numbers are. Fortunately, it was a great show too.”
