Matt Cardona has gone back to the future in a new promo video showing his ‘Desire’ and ‘Sacrifice’ since joining Game Changer Wrestling.
In the clip created by @Dfreedom30, Cardona’s ups and downs in GCW are set to Creed’s “My Sacrifice.” Fans of a certain vintage will remember the original video packages being a staple throughout the early 2000’s, depicting the triumphs and struggles of being a WWE Superstar.
Cardona was last in action at GCW The Art Of War Games where he lost his World Title to Jon Moxley who was making a surprise appearance. After the bout, Moxley was confronted by Nick Gage, setting up a match between the pair on October 9th.
Meanwhile, Cardona will be returning to GCW at Get Lost A Lot on September 24th where he is scheduled to make a major announcement.

Since leaving WWE in April 2020, Matt Cardona has undergone quite the transformation. After a short stay in AEW, the former Intercontinental Champion headed to IMPACT Wrestling.
In the midst of this run, Cardona switched trajectory completely arriving in GCW defeating Nick Cage at Homecoming Weekend to claim the World Title in a brutal Death Match. Following the victory, the hostile crowd expressed their displeasure by throwing objects at Cardona.
The reaction went viral on Twitter and was commented on by Dave Meltzer, who described the actions as “An embarrassment to the industry.”
Speaking after the win, Cardona admitted that there was some fear heading into the match, but he had no regrets.
The former WWE star defended the championship twice before being beaten by Moxley in early September.
