Matt Cardona Shares His Hilarious Response To Internet ‘Trolls’

Matt Cardona

Matt Cardona has hit back at an Internet troll in a rather unusual way.

Beginning when he was Zack Ryder in WWE, the online presence of Matt Cardona has consistently factored into his character to the point that he created his very own Internet Championship. Alongside his Z! True Long Island Story series on YouTube, he’s often referred to as being one of the first major wrestlers who used the Internet to their advantage.

With that, though, of course comes the Internet hate. Matt Cardona has used his current platform as a top heel in independent wrestling to fight back against one of these ‘trolls’ by submitting various negative reviews on their Amazon page. Responding to what seems to be an author, Cardona repeatedly deemed their products as a “bad book written by an Internet troll”:

Released by WWE in April 2020 after a fifteen-year stint, Matt Cardona has remained a free agent, though he’s amassed appearances in IMPACT Wrestling, All Elite Wrestling, and the National Wrestling Alliance, where he serves as the organisation’s Worlds Heavyweight Champion.

Beginning in June, Matt Cardona has been a regular fixture in Game Changer Wrestling, with his well-received debut seeing him lay out then-GCW World Champion, Nick Gage while masquerading as Jon Moxley, who Gage had previously called out. As well as winning the championship himself, Cardona has also enjoyed stories with EFFY and Joey Janela while in the company.

He’s currently due to defend his IMPACT Digital Media Championship against Jordynne Grace at the Anthem-helmed promotion’s No Surrender event on Saturday, 19 February.
