The card for the first-ever AEW Dynamite ‘Quake by the Lake’ is starting to take shape.
Already confirmed for the event, AEW Interim World Championship John Moxley will square off against Chris Jericho. This contest marks the second time the pair have battled for the AEW Title having previously done so in 2020 at Revolution. The two men have been involved in a feud as part of the ongoing rivalry between the Jericho Appreciation Society and Blackpool Combat Club.
In addition to the World Championship bout, three new matches have been confirmed for the show with more likely to be announced in the coming days.
Darby Allin will once more get an opportunity to go into battle with Brody King when the two face off in a Coffin Match. The former TNT Champion and House of Black member have been embroiled in an ever increasingly personal feud ever since King defeated Allin at Royal Rampage.
Last week even saw King getting a tattoo of Allin’s tombstone with the words “Here lies Darby Allin” on it. In reply Allin got a tattoo of the phrase ‘The coffin drops on Brody King” on the palm of his hand.
Darby Allin makes it official, NEXT WEEK @ #QuakeByTheLake, it will be Darby Allin vs Brody King in a COFFIN MATCH
