Massive WWE Star Planned For Money In The Bank Ladder Match

WWE Money In The Bank

WWE might be heading to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions in a matter of days, but attention is already beginning to turn to their next Premium Live Event, Money In The Bank.

Once again the sports entertainment giant will be venturing outside the United States, this time heading to London, England. This marks the first time that Money In The Bank will be held outside of the U.S.

Qualifiers for the men’s and women’s Ladder Matches are due to start on the May 29th episode of Raw, but there has been no confirmation of who will be involved.

Despite this, a new report from WRKD Wrestling has claimed that not only will Cody Rhodes feature in the qualifiers, but he will also be in the men’s match on July 1st.

“Nearly winning it ten years ago back in 2013, Cody Rhodes is expected to return as a competitor in the Money In The Bank match this year in London, England.”

Cody Rhodes Set For Huge Match At WWE Night Of Champions

After being defeated by Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 39, Cody Rhodes set about rebuilding himself and going after the Tribal Chief once more, but Brock Lesnar had other ideas. The Beast attacked Rhodes the night after WrestleMania and the pair have waged an incredibly violent rivalry ever since. Although Rhodes picked up the win at Backlash, Lesnar has continued in his bid to destroy his rival.

Rhodes and Lesnar will attempt to settle their differences once and for all at Night of Champions.
