Massive Update On Bo Dallas’ WWE Status

Massive Update On Bo Dallas' WWE Status

Bo Dallas is set to make a WWE return very soon.

On April 1st, WWE premiered a new documentary chronicling the life and career of the late, great Bray Wyatt. The closing shot of the program appeared to pay homage to the former WWE Champion, but as was the case with many Wyatt videos that have aired in the past, there was something more to it.

Following on from a memorial graphic for Wyatt, a lantern is seen flickering and the shot distorts. Zooming in on the lantern, a voice can be heard yelling “Run!” before the final shot sees Uncle Howdy approach the lantern. Dallas, who is the brother of the late wrestler, portrayed Uncle Howdy during Bray Wyatt’s final run with the company. With the shot done for a reason, there is a belief that the former NXT Champion will be making a long-awaited return to WWE in the near future.

Bo Dallas Expected Back Soon

More information about the mysterious final shot has been provided courtesy of Fightful Select. Company sources have told Fightful that this was a teaser for Dallas’ eventual return but the return date still remains unknown. It is also noted that the lantern shot was deliberate to set up the eventual return.

Understandably, the return of Dallas has not been rushed due to the tragic passing of Bray Wyatt back in August 2023. Dallas has been under contract with the company since 2022 and made multiple appearances as Uncle Howdy, but this was never officially acknowledged by anyone on WWE TV.

Dallas last competed for the company in 2019, losing a 6 man tag team match at a live show in Zürich. Dallas did not compete for any other promotions following his release in April 2021.

In a further update, a former WWE star may also be on their way back to the company.
