Massive Speculation On The Rock’s Complete WWE Silence

The Rock WWE

The Rock has been completely silent about WWE for the past few months, leading to some massive speculation.

The Rock last appeared on WWE television at Elimination Chamber earlier this year to ask for Cody Rhodes’ soul. Instead, he got John Cena to turn heel in one of the most shocking moments in WWE history. The star has since kept his silence about the company, even after WWE changed the location of WrestleMania 42 from New Orleans to Las Vegas. It should be noted that The Rock was the one who made the WrestleMania 42 location announcement. His last Instagram post related to World Wrestling Entertainment came 18 weeks ago during Elimination Chamber.

Now, former WWE talents Jonathan Coachman and Vince Russo have speculated that all is not well within the company and behind the TKO curtains.

The Rock’s relationship with WWE has been marred, speculates Vince Russo and Jonathan Coachman

Speaking on the Coach and Bro podcast, former WWE broadcaster Jonathan Coachman and former head writer Vince Russo speculated that The Rock may not have been happy with the company. Despite being a member of the TKO Group that controls World Wrestling Entertainment, The Brahma Bull’s complete silence on the company seems astonishing.

Russo predicted that The Great One’s plans being changed by those in the company over the past two years may not have sat well with him, leading to him distancing himself from the promotion, which is being creatively run by Triple H. Coachman also pointed out that even when The Rock was not a regular part of the programming he would still post and tweet about the promotion, unlike now, calling it “almost unbelievable.”

“Coach, when you look at it, the last two WrestleManias, I guess you could say the Rock has been overruled. WrestleMania two years ago, he wanted to go Rock and Cody [sic] and we all know what happened there. And then we learned from Cena, we learned from Cody, this year he wanted Cody to turn heel, and it was voted against. If I am The Rock and you call me in for my advice and my expertise, I put it all on the line, I give it to you, and you’re going to go the other way, and it’s really not going to turn out that good two years in a row. Honestly, Coach, if I’m Rock, I don’t know if I am putting that company over, either.”

It remains to be seen whether The Rock will return to WWE sometime down the line.
