Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry has revealed the name of the final WWE Superstar that he would like to induct into his Hall of Pain.
Appearing on BT Sport’s The Run-In, Henry was full of praise for WWE NXT United Kingdom Champion, WALTER.
“I feel like WALTER is the cream of the crop. I think WALTER should be world champion in the next two or three years. It’s all up to him. If he stays healthy and wants to get better, like, you will see WALTER as a world champion.
Henry was then asked if a potential clash against WWE’s longest reigning champion for his NXT United Kingdom Championship could bring him out of retirement. The former World’s Strongest Man, replied by saying that he wanted one more match before he retired for good, and that WALTER, would fit the bill.
“I want to have one more match before I completely say that I’m never going to wrestle again. And WALTER is one of those guys that, you know, he may need to be put in the Hall of Pain.”
The WWE Hall of Famer, went on to explain that if the match were to happen it would be because WALTER had called him out, as WALTER is the current full time wrestler. Henry added that “it’s not up to me” whether the match happens or not.
It was recently announced that WALTER would defend his UK Title against Tomasso Ciampa at NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. The match marks only the third time that the championship has been defended at a US TakeOver.
Meanwhile, Mark Henry has also recently discussed his desire to return to the ring in the coming months. Henry commented that he was lighter than he had ever been, and was ready to get back into the ring.
