Mark Henry Heaps Praise On ‘Emmy Worthy’ Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman is widely regarded as being one of the best to have ever held a microphone in the world of professional wrestling. He took things to a new level when he became Brock Lesnar’s ‘Advocate’ back in 2012.

Heyman became the master of not only hyping up his ‘Client’, Brock Lesnar but also The Conquerer’s opponents, helping to make every match Lesnar had a huge deal for WWE fans.

In 2020, Heyman took on a new role when he became the ‘Special Counsel’ for Roman Reigns. At that year’s SummerSlam, Reigns had returned after a lengthy absence with a new, more vicious attitude.

With Paul Heyman by his side, Reigns quickly assumed his place as The Head Of The Table by defeating Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman to capture the Universal Championship. The Usos soon joined their cousin, forming The Bloodline.

Paul Heyman’s loyalties were tested when Brock Lesnar returned to WWE with Reigns in his sights. Heyman soon rejoined Lesnar after being fired by The Tribal Chief. However, soon after Lesnar captured the WWE Championship, Heyman turned on him and helped Roman Reigns to attack him.

Since then, Reigns has become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after defeating Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 38. Paul Heyman has remained by his side ever since.

Mark Henry on “Emmy-Worthy” Paul Heyman

AEW star Mark Henry has been following the saga of Heyman, Reigns, and Lesnar and, on a recent edition of Busted Open, singled out Heyman for his “Emmy-worthy” performances.

“Paul Heyman, from the beginning, when he decided to take up Roman Reigns after leaving Brock Lesnar and the whole confliction, ‘Okay I’m gonna go back with Brock. I’m gonna go where the title is.’

“Paul Heyman with his ability to grovel and beg and put himself in a spot of servitude to Roman Reigns is Emmy-worthy. The performance that he puts on every week, it is awe-inspiring when it comes to handling a microphone.”
