Haskins, who originally signed with ROH in December 2018, has not competed for the company since February 29th 2020, where he unsuccessfully challenged for the Ring of Honor World Title in a three way match with PCO and eventual winner Rush.
Since then, the well travelled grappler has been forced to remain in the United Kingdom due to the ongoing travel restrictions associated with the global pandemic.
In a statement, ROH noted that despite Haskins’ absence, the former Lifeblood member’s signature had been a priority matter:
Ring of Honor is pleased to announce that international star Mark Haskins has re-signed with the company.
Haskins originally signed with ROH in December 2018 and quickly established himself as one of the fiercest and most-well-rounded competitors on the roster.
The native of Oxford, England was scheduled to challenge RUSH for the ROH World Championship at the 18th Anniversary show this past March, but the event was cancelled because of the pandemic.
Haskins has not competed in ROH since then due to travel restrictions, but keeping the talented athlete in the fold was a priority for the company.
Haskins holds victories over some of the biggest names in pro wrestling and won the ROH International Cup in 2018 several months prior to signing his first contract with the company.
International travel between the UK and USA remains problematic, however Haskins was able to be featured on Ring of Honor television this week, with the company having aired a taped match against former ROH Champion Jay Lethal.
Throughout 2020, Haskins was limited to a handful of in-ring appearances outside of ROH, wrestling for UK promotion RevPro as part of their Epic Encounters series.
