Maria Kanellis updated fans after a successful surgery.
Back in July, Maria Kanellis revealed that doctors had found a mass on her adrenal gland and that she would be undergoing surgery in the coming months. On October 24th, her husband Mike Bennett confirmed that she’d successfully undergone surgery that day and that she was resting after the procedure.
Now, Kanellis has taken to social media with an update for her fans, revealing that she’s still in the hospital but that surgery went well. She wrote:
Hello all, I am still in the hospital. The surgery went well and my bloodwork looks good. We should have the biopsy results in 7-10 days to figure out exactly what the mass was. I like to call the mass Arnold. I may stay overnight one more night because I have nausea and a headache when standing which may be blood pressure related or something else. Everyone at Rush has been amazing and so kind.

When Does Maria Kanellis’ AEW Contract Expire?
In early October, Maria Kanellis posted a health update about her upcoming surgery and revealed that her contract with AEW was coming to an end on October 31st. She said:
“Hello, it’s been a little bit since I’ve checked in. We’re getting close to my surgery, and we’re within 20 days of it at this point. This week, I have an ultrasound, I have genetic testing, and I also am meeting with my surgeon to make a plan and hopefully start discussing what time of day we’ll be doing the surgery and if we’re going through the front or though the back. So I’m trying to not focus too much on that, and also my contract with AEW is coming up October 31st.
I’ve reached out to them to find out whether or not they are going to be signing me, but I haven’t really heard anything yet, so of course that is weighing on me as well. But because it’s that time of year where it’s spooky season, I’m trying to focus on that.
Today, I’m gonna work on some outdoor Halloween decorations because the rest of it, I can’t control right now. I can’t control, I can’t control the surgery. But what I can do is make some wonderful memories for my kids, so today, that is going to be my focus is making my kids happy.” (h/t Fightful)
Everyone at Inside the Ropes continues to send our best wishes to Maria Kanellis during her recovery.
