Many Internally Feel 41-Year-Old ‘Too Good Not To Be” On RAW Or SmackDown

WWE RAW and SmackDown

A 41-year-old WWE star’s main roster move may be imminent after spending some time supposedly in the doghouse.

Popular commentator Corey Graves had been vocal about his displeasure at how he was being utilized by the sports entertainment juggernaut. Through his lens, he was relegated to the developmental brand NXT, despite a solid run as color commentator on SmackDown and RAW.

WWE Considers Corey Graves Worthy Of Main Roster; Permanent Move To RAW Imminent?

Graves articulated his honest feelings on X/Twitter after Worlds Collide recently. He wrote that he had found a newfound love for pro wrestling, something he felt he had lost. He also praised veteran Konnan for the latter’s wisdom in his post.

It seems Graves is finally moving back to WWE’s main roster. He recently worked the flagship show, Monday Night RAW. WrestleVotes has reported that those within the promotion feel that Graves is too good not to be on the main roster, which suggests he could be back as a full-time member of the RAW broadcasting team.

According to several within WWE, there is a strong contingency to get Corey Graves on main roster TV weekly regardless of who is or is not available. While several understand the value that Pat McAfee brings to the company, many feel like Graves is way too good and way too passionate to not be on main roster TV week in and week out. Unable to confirm if WWE has interest in bringing back the 3 man booths for TV.”

Outside WWE, Graves recently fathered his second child with former Women’s Champion Carmella. She is a significant name in the company’s history, as Mella was the first-ever Women’s Money in the Bank winner. However, the company released her in February 2025.

Carmella slammed the company for “ghosting” her and not reciprocating to her pitches, opting to release her instead. She even claimed that it felt like she was being punished for getting pregnant.
