WWE Superstar Mansoor appears to have turned heel after joining LA Knight’s ‘Knight Model Management’ faction during a SmackDown dark segment.
Ahead of the April 15th edition of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight appeared to take on a new role as a manager, accompanying former RETRIBUTION member MACE to the ring for his match. In the bout, MACE was able to defeat Erik of The Viking Raiders.
Now, during a dark segment on the latest episode of the blue brand, Knight has added another member to his burgeoning faction, Knight Model Management.
On a video captured by a fan during the unaired segment, Knight entered the ring and acknowledged the deafening boos he received from the WWE Universe.
“Maybe my ears aren’t working so well, but did I just hear that reception?
When you hear that music, when you see these faces, you stand your fat kiesters up, you put your hands in the air and you show the proper respect!”
The former NXT star then confirmed that the man in the ring with him was the newest member of his group, Mansoor.
“Standing in this ring with me right now, you see a man named Mansoor.”
Interestingly, as the two welcomed the third member of the faction to the ring, Knight commented during his entrance that, while fans know him as ‘MACE’, he knows him as ‘Face’. This could indicate a name change for the star in the near future. You can watch the video below:
Mansoor was last seen wrestling as part of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the special WrestleMania SmackDown on April 1st. Before then, he hadn’t been seen on WWE TV since January 14th when he and Cesaro teamed up in an unsuccessful attempt to become the Number 1 Contenders for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships.
