WWE’s first ever Saudi Arabian Superstar Mansoor has made the move to the main roster.
The pair were then interrupted by United States Champion Sheamus, where after some verbal sparring a clash between the two was set up for later in the night.
During the match that followed, Mansoor’s ‘never say die’ attitude was on full display against the much bigger man. However, the match was quickly interrupted by Humberto Carrillo who ran in and attacked Sheamus. The pair have been locked in a feud since Carillio returned to RAW two weeks ago.
Mansoor went into the match on a 49 match unbeaten run, but that has now come to a shuddering halt with the DQ loss. It was recently reported that the winning streak was in place to “appease the benefactors in Saudi Arabia.”
Mansoor Al-Shehail, simply known as Mansoor, signed for WWE back in 2018. The 25-year-old won a 51-man Battle Royal at Super Showdown in 2019, lastly eliminating Elias. At WWE Crown Jewel later on in the same year, Mansoor defeated Cesaro. That November he also made a winning debut on 205 Live before defeating Dolph Ziggler at Super Showdown 2020.
The cruiserweight made his debut on WWE Main Event in February 2021, where he overcame Drew Gulak.
