As WWE promised a new era with NXT and the launch of NXT 2.0, Mandy Rose took the opportunity to unveil a stunning new look of her own.
With Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne scheduled to take on Kacy Catanzaro and Kayden Carter, the former cut a promo backstage hyping up Rose’s new look. After the tag match got underway, it was quickly interrupted by Mandy Rose who whipped off her hood to reveal that she as now a brunette.
Rose, Dolin and Jayne continued to dish out the punishment, until Sarray ran in to make the save. After the show came back from a break, it was announced that the match was now a Six-Woman Tag Team Match. Rose entered the bout full of momentum, eventually picking up the win by pinning Carter.
The former RAW Superstar has been on a collision course with Sarray after the Japanese star “injured” her with a kick to the face in late August. Rose then appeared with a mask, before showing off her new look on NXT 2.0.

NXT 2.0 had kicked off with a bang, with the debut of Bron Breakker, the man formerly known as Bronson Rechsteiner. The rookie made relatively short work work of LA Knight, marking his first appearance with a win.
The show also saw the coronation of a new NXT Champion. After Samoa Joe had to relinquish the title through injury, Pete Dunne, Kyle O’Reilly and Tommaso Ciampa had been due to meet in a Fatal-4-Way Match to determine a new champion. However, O’Reilly was taken out backstage by Dunne and Ridge Holland leaving him able to compete. General Manager William Regal then announced that he would be replaced by another rookie, Von Wagner.
When the match finally got underway it was Tommaso Ciampa who emerged victorious being reunited with Goldie.
In the show’s main event, the wedding of Indie Hartwell and Dexter Lumis (surprisingly for wrestling weddings) went off without a hitch. Apart from the small matter of Lumis knocking out the priest. But thankfully a now fully ordained Beth Phoenix stepped up to the plate and did the honours, joining InDex as husband and wife.
