Mandy Rose’s dominant reign at the top of NXT 2.0 continues after she picks up another huge win at NXT Worlds Collide.
NXT Worlds Collide saw the meeting of WWE’s two longest reigns women’s champions. Mandy Rose had held the NXT Women’s Championship for 313, while Meiko Satomura had held the NXT UK Women’s Title for 451 days. Then throw Blair Davenport into the mix and you had the recipe for a show-stealing Triple Threat Match.
The action was non-stop throughout as Satomura continued to prove just why she’s regarded as one of the greatest women’s wrestlers in history. She almost had the match won on more than one occasion, but that’s not to say that she had everything all her own way.
The end of the match came somewhat out of the blue. Davenport had Rose rolled up in a pinning predicament, but Satomura broke it up with a Scorpion Rising Kick on her NXT UK rival. As the Japanese star got Davenport to her feet, Rose flew in with her Kiss By The Rose knee to level both women, pinning Davenport to claim a historic victory.
Elsewhere on the show, Pretty Deadly emerged victorious in a chaotic Fatal-Four-Way Match to become Unified NXT Tag Team Champions thanks to a helping hand from Damon Kemp.
