Fans were shocked when Mandy Rose made her return to WWE NXT in July of 2021. Though the golden goddess hadn’t managed to win championship gold on the main roster, she was involved in a number of prominent storylines, particularly her romance with Otis and her friendship-turned-rivalry with Sonya DeVille.
While some may have seen Mandy Rose’s return to the black and gold brand as a demotion, she embraced the opportunity and reinvented herself, saying goodbye to her signature golden locks and dying her hair brown when she formed Toxic Attraction with Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne. At Halloween Havoc in 2021, she defeated Raquel Rodriguez (then known as Raquel Gonzalez) in a Trick or Street Fight to win the WWE NXT Women’s Championship, her first taste of gold in WWE.
Mandy Rose Has Been WWE NXT Women’s Champion For Over One Year
October 26th marked exactly one year with Mandy Rose as WWE NXT Women’s Champion. Only two other women have held the title for more than a year as Asuka was champion for 522 days and Shayna Baszler reigned for 416.

In the year she’s been champion, Mandy Rose has managed to defend her title against the likes of Roxanne Perez, Wendy Choo, and Zoey Stark. At Worlds Collide, she proved herself even more dominant when she emerged victorious over both Meiko Satomura and Blair Davenport in a triple threat match to unify the NXT and NXT UK Women’s Championships.
At Halloween Havoc on October 22nd, Rose defended her championship once again, this time against Alba Fyre. Prior to the match, Fyre led the members of Toxic Attraction to a house of horrors, attacking each of them individually after they split up (to the dismay of Jacy Jayne). Though Alba Fyre certainly weakened Toxic Attraction going into the match, and though she brought hard hitting offense against the champion, Mandy Rose was victorious in the end with help from her teammates.
