Previously unseen footage of a WrestleMania weekend WWE NXT event has been released!
Earlier today, the WWE Vault YouTube channel uploaded never-before-seen footage of the March 27th 2015 NXT live event in San Jose, California.
Highlights from the show include Finn Balor vs Adrian Neville in the main event, Charlotte Flair vs Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship and surprise appearances from Triple H, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn!
Eric Bischoff has made the surprising claim that Cody Rhodes would benefit from losing his title to John Cena!
During the latest edition of 83 Weeks, former WCW President Eric Bischoff explained why he believes Cody Rhodes losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena at WrestleMania 41 would ultimately help The American Nightmare.
Would I see John getting the belt? Yeah I would. It’ll be interesting, it would be good for Cody.
Look, in my humble f****ng opinion, Cody’s not going to get a lot more over than he is staying on top, but he’s such a good babyface and such a good face for the company, he’ll get more over getting it back than he will holding on to it.
He’ll get more steam, more momentum, more opportunity to get himself over in a different way if he’s chasing that championship for the next 12 months as opposed to defending it.

Those backstage at AEW were reportedly surprised by Saraya‘s departure.
Fightful Select has given more insight into Saraya’s sudden AEW exit, reporting that the move surprised the vast majority at the company. The former Paige is said to have only told a handful of people about her departure as of last week.
Through communications with her management team, the outlet confirmed that her departure was a mutual agreement and that Saraya maintained a great relationship with AEW. Furthermore, it was clarified that she is now a free agent.
Natalya is set to face a top Japanese star in her first match outside of WWE in almost two decades.
As announced earlier this month, WWE’s Natalya will compete at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XIII over WrestleMania 41 weekend. This will mark her first match outside of WWE since a Stampede Wrestling event in January 2007.
Yesterday, the WWE star made the surprising proclamation that she wanted to face top Joshi star Miyu Yamashita at the event, a notion Yamashita herself was eager about. A few hours later, Josh Barnett made the match official.
When wrestlers of this caliber ask for a fight with one another, then a fight we will have.

Former WWE star Mandy Rose has hit out at the company over a “pretty pathetic” claim.
Earlier this month, NXT Women’s North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer made history by dethroning NXT Women’s Champion Giulia, becoming the brand’s first-ever female double champion. A former star, however, disagrees.
In a post to her X account, former NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose shared a fan’s post claiming that she was actually NXT’s first women’s double champion and hit out at the supposed snub by the company.

It’s worth noting that, per WWE’s official records, Rose is incorrect and never was a double champion in NXT.
While she did defeat NXT UK Women’s Champion Meiko Satomura at NXT Worlds Collide 2022, this was a unification match rather than Winner Takes All. Due to NXT UK’s closure, its titles were merged with their NXT counterparts and subsequently retired at the event.
As such, Satomura is officially recognised as the final NXT UK Women’s Champion while Rose only ever held the NXT Women’s Championship.
