As per Fightful, Mance Warner will not return to MLW for their Restart on November 18 as the relationship between the parties takes a drastic turn for the worse.
Several weeks ago, MLW held sixteen weeks worth of television tapings at the GILT nightclub in Orlando, Florida, but Mance Warner was not present for any of the recordings. It is now doubtful that the MLW faithful will see the star again before March 2021.
Recently, Warner and Major League Wrestling have been locked in a bitter contract dispute with the star attracting interest from major companies, most notably AEW.
It had been reported in October that Mance Warner had approached MLW requesting to be released from his contract so he could negotiate with All Elite Wrestling, but the company turned down his desire to leave and kept him under contract.
Warner wasn’t the only star who had contract disputes with the league during the COVID-19 pandemic. Both Davey Boy Smith Jr. and Brian Pillman Jr. were embroiled in disagreements over their current deal but managed to come to acceptable terms with the group with Smith’s current deal expiring in December.
It is worth nothing that it is currently unknown whether Warner missed the show due to said contract negotiations or because of health reasons. However, in recent months he has been working the indie circuit.
There is no word yet whether Warner will return to MLW in 2021.
