Although her wrestling appearances are few and far between these days, Beth Phoenix remains a formidable in-ring presence.
The WWE Hall of Famer is one of the most physically imposing female Superstars in history and has never been shy to tangle with WWE’s male Superstars. Phoenix’s most recent match came at Elimination Chamber where she teamed with her husband Edge to defeat Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley of Judgment Day.
In the lead-up to the match, she also got her hands on Dominik Mysterio laying him out with a Glam Slam.
Speaking in a new interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling’s Riju Dasgupta, Dominik revealed that he hasn’t ruled out getting his own back, saying that he’d love to face the WWE legend one-on-one.
“Yeah, I’ll take a one-on-one with Beth Phoenix. Why not? She hit me with the Glam Slam and she tried to hit me again with it. You know what, if you put your hands on me, I think it’s only fair game, right? We’ll have to take care of Edge because I know he’s gonna wanna interact somehow, some way.”
Coming back to his answer, Dominik suggested that it might actually be better if he teams with “Mami” in a Handicap Match.
“But I think the best way to do it would be a handicap match with me and Mami Rhea versus Beth. If I get in there with Beth, I don’t want too much heat, so I’ve gotta let Mami take care of some of the business.”
Beth Phoenix To Appear At WrestleMania?
Speaking after her match at Elimination Chamber, Beth Phoenix opened up about potentially being involved in WrestleMania. The WWE Hall of Famer confirmed that she’ll be at the show to support Edge in whatever he does, but otherwise she has no plans for herself. Phoenix added that it’s fun to be able to dip into WWE now that her children are old enough to understand and enjoy what’s going on.
