Fresh from a successful stint in All Elite Wrestling, Maki Itoh has returned to home promotion Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling with her eyes on Rika Tatsumi’s Princess of Princess Championship.
After stating her desire to challenge for the promotion’s top singles title in an interview, the match has now officially been set for TJPW’s Still Incomplete card on April 17th.
‘The Cutest in the World‘ will be the second defence for current champion Tatsumi, who won the belt in January from another AEW alumni, Yuka Sakazaki.
Tatsumi’s other title defence came in February, where she turned back the challenge of another rising star in Miu Watanabe.
TJPW’s other championships will also be defended on the show, with Neo Bi-Ishiki-Gun cashing in on their Max Heart tournament victory to challenge the Bakuretsu Sisters for the Princess Tag Team Championships.
The promotion’s youngest title, the International Princess Championship, will also be on the line as Yuki Kamifuku defends her belt against Nao Kakuta.
