After missing the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 39, AJ Styles is back in WWE.
Styles had been out of action since breaking his ankle at a live event on December 29th, 2022. However, fresh off the back of being drafted to SmackDown, the Phenomenal One made a surprise return to WWE television.
On the April 28th episode of the blue brand, Styles returned alongside Mia Yim, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson. While Yim had continued to wrestle on Raw, Gallows and Anderson had also been mostly absent since Styles got injured back in December.
After making their entrance to a loud ovation, The O.C. stood tall in the ring and Styles went to address the crowd. However, the group was interrupted by the Viking Raiders. During the staredown, Styles dipped out to even up the numbers, letting Gallows, Anderson, and Yim take care of their new rivals.
Styles finished the segment with a Phenomenal Forearm before declaring that the group was just getting started.
