WWE NXT sold out this show within one day of details being announced.

On October 21st, WWE announced that NXT would be broadcasting its November 6th episode from the iconic 2300 Arena (formerly known as the ECW Arena) in Philadelphia, PA. The episode is being aired on a Wednesday to avoid competition from US election coverage on November 5th, and will go head to head with AEW Dynamite.

Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative Shawn Michaels had this to say about the announcement in a press release:

“The city of Philadelphia has a rich wrestling history, and we are excited to bring a night of unforgettable action to such a storied venue.”

Just one day later, tickets for the show are completely sold out according venue’s website.

WWE NXT Recently Moved To The CW Network

In late 2023, WWE confirmed that NXT would be leaving its home on USA and moving to the CW Network in October of 2024. The show made its CW debut on October 1st, with a blockbuster episode emanating from Chicago, IL.

The ratings for WWE NXT’s October 1st debut on the CW Network were impressive, drawing a total average viewership of 895,000 viewers, a 44% increase from the September 24th episode on USA. It also posted a 0.26 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic, an increase from the 0.19 demo rating the previous week.

According to a report from PWInsider, CW is thrilled with the rating earned by NXT. The report points to the show beating out other top programs on the network, saying CW would have been happy even with a lower rating:

Yes, we know that for sure, it was the highest rated show on CW in forever. The week before, reruns of The Conners were doing in the 300-400K range. This blew that away. I know for a fact that CW officials were absolutely thrilled. They would have been happy with 500K, legitimately. This number had them celebrating.

Continuing to hype the show, a WWE Hall of Famer looks to be in attendance.
