A major match for the next WWE Premium Live Event looks set to be announced shortly.
Following the events that took place at the Royal Rumble, two matches for WrestleMania are taking shape as Cody Rhodes and Bayley will each challenge a champion of their choosing to a match in Philadelphia. As the show was going off the air, The American Nightmare made it very clear that he would face Roman Reigns once again in April.
In regards to Bayley, many are expecting the Damage CTRL member to eventually challenge Iyo Sky for the Women’s Championship following an inevitable betrayal from the faction. With this in mind, Rhea Ripley would remain without a challenger for The Show of Shows. According to a new report, the Elimination Chamber will be the deciding factor.
As reported by PWInsider, internal discussions at Royal Rumble stated that the plan is to have a Women’s Elimination Chamber match at the event in Australia, with the winner being crowned the new number one contender to the Women’s World Championship. Additionally, the favourites for the match are either Liv Morgan or Becky Lynch. There is also corroboration that Bayley will challenge Sky at Mania.
When Is WWE Elimination Chamber?
The final big show before WrestleMania will take place on Saturday, February 24th. Taking place live in Perth, Australia, fans around the world will be watching the show at a much earlier start time than they are used to. Recently, the company unveiled the official poster for the event, which saw Ripley as the featured Superstar. Additionally, WWE would confirm what time the show would start.
