With WrestleMania 39 less than two months away fans and critics alike have been busy building their fantasy WrestleMania cards.
While the headline matches for the event are already set, there are a number of Superstars whose WrestleMania destination remains unknown. One of these stars is Seth Rollins, who despite enjoying one of the years of his career to date in 2022, remains outside of the World Title picture. However, it appears that he’s still heading for a huge match at SoFi Stadium.
As many fans suspected, it has now been reported that Rollins will be squaring off against Logan Paul. The YouTube star made a surprise appearance in the men’s 2023 Royal Rumble match and shockingly eliminated the former World Champion.
In the days after the show Rollins took to social media to express his dislike of Paul while claiming that he doesn’t care about wrestling.
Dave Melzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that the match is all but confirmed for WrestleMania 39. Furthermore, the expected showdown between Rey Mysterio and his son Dominik remains the likely match for both men.
“There is nothing notable new regarding WrestleMania plans past publicity and interviews from the past week indicate Seth Rollins vs. Logan Paul is as close to official as possible without the match announcement.
They also did an angle before a NASCAR event to tease Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio, a match that had been earmarked for the show dating back to the early fall.”
Who Will Be At WrestleMania 39?
Although Dwayne Johnson will seemingly not be wrestling at the event, and Steve Austin turned down the chance to get back in the ring, the card for WrestleMania 39 already features a list of huge match-ups.
- Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes – Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
- Charlotte Flair (c) vs. Rhea Ripley – SmackDown Women’s Title
- Bianca Belair vs. Elimination Chamber Winner – Raw Women’s Title
It has also been widely reported that John Cena will be stepping into the ring against Austin Theory.
