Major League Wrestling is coming to screens in the United Kingdom after securing a deal with Ayozat TV!
Initially promoted between 2002 and 2004, and revived in 2017, the New Rochelle, New York-based Major League Wrestling is one of the hottest independent promotions on offer. Helmed by Court Bauer, the organisation has been continuously praised for its strong quality, roster, and production values.
Now, viewers in the United Kingdom will be able to enjoy the success of the promotion, with news that MLW content will be airing on Ayozat TV (channel 191 for Sky TV customers). Their weekly show FUSION will air on Wednesdays at 9pm, while classic content from will air on Friday evenings in the same timeslot.
This is in addition to the company’s output in North America via BeIN Sports. Since November 2020, this has aired at 9pm EST, having previously aired on the Fubo Sports Network. Additionally, FUSION is available to watch via the official Major League Wrestling YouTube channel.
Speaking on the new deal, Ayozat Chairman Umesh Perera stated how pleased the company were to have a leading US indie promotion under their banner:
“We are really pleased to be the UK TV partner for Major League Wrestling and look forward to showcasing the weekly show to UK wrestling fans.”
Court Bauer, owner and CEO of Major League Wrestling, echoed these sentiments, declaring how keen fans were for MLW to be made available in the United Kingdom:
“Our fans have made it clear how much they wanted MLW to come to the UK and now it is official with a great partner in Ayozat. We are delighted to work alongside them and show a wider fanbase how exciting and engaging MLW is.”
The next episode of FUSION – billed as season one, episode five – is scheduled to air tonight (Friday, 15 July), featuring a Falls Count Anywhere match between Sami Callihan and LA Park.
