Major Update On Randy Orton’s WWE Future

Randy Orton

According to a new report, Randy Orton could finally be making his way back to WWE.

The Viper has been absent from WWE television since the May 20th, 2022 edition of Friday Night SmackDown where he and Matt Riddle lost the Raw Tag Team Titles to The Usos. After the match, both Riddle and Orton were on the receiving end of a vicious beatdown and this was used to explain Orton’s absence.

As he remained away from WWE it was reported that the star was taking time off to deal with a nagging back injury which had been getting progressively worse. WWE’s and fans’ worst fears were eventually confirmed when it was revealed that he had undergone surgery amid fears that his career could be over.

Although things have mostly been quiet on the star, Orton’s father recently revealed that he believes his son had been told not to get back in the ring.

However, it seems that the former World Champion is on the comeback trail. It’s now been reported by WRKD Wrestling that the star is expected to return soon.

Randy Orton is expected to be nearing a return, possibly even as soon as this weekend’s Money In The Bank. Orton has been out of action since May of 2022 with a serious back injury.”
