Major Update On CM Punk’s Status For Tonight’s AEW Dynamite

CM Punk AEW Collision

Is CM Punk indeed double dipping on his return to AEW television this week?

A previous report indicated that Punk’s presence may not just be felt on “AEW Collison” this past Saturday, but he also may be in attendance for tonight’s “AEW Dynamite.” Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer took to Twitter Wednesday before the show to give an update on Punk’s current whereabouts, and if you’re hoping for a second dose of the “Second City Saint” you may be in luck.

“Punk is in the building.”

While CM Punk Is In The Building For Tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Others Are Not

It does make sense to continue the tour of the “Chicago Made” man considering he helped the premiere of “AEW Collision” with impressive viewership numbers and reportedly has boosted the company’s ticket sales since he has returned. However, some notable names are reported to be missing from tonight’s episode of “Dynamite.” As of now, Kenny Omega is not scheduled to appear and also The Young Bucks are reportedly not on tap to be in attendance either.

CM Punk sure didn’t shy away from making some comments regarding his contention with The Elite in his return promo on “Collision,” stating that a Warner Bros. Discovery Exec labeled him “1 Bill Phil” while he was among some “Counterfeit Bucks.” Although the line was approved by AEW management, Dave Meltzer recently broke news, claiming that tensions remain high between the two camps for The Elite and CM Punk.
