WWE Raw‘s debut on Netflix will feature a major title match.

On January 23rd, news broke that Monday Night Raw would be leaving USA Network and moving to Netflix in 2025. Not only that, Netflix will be the home to the company’s premium live events internationally, marking huge changes for the WWE Network outside of the United States. In August, it was confirmed that Raw would officially debut on Netflix on January 6th, 2025.

The company has already begun hyping up the big move. Triple H recently shared behind the scenes footage to help promote the Netflix partnership, and it’s also been confirmed that John Cena will be a part of the January 6th Raw debut. Roman Reigns is set to wrestle a rare TV match for the occasion, and multiple WWE legends including The Rock are expected to be involved with the show.

WWE Wants Multiple Matches Advertised For Raw Netflix Debut

Now, another blockbuster match is expected to be added to the lineup as the finals of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament will take place on January 6th inside the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. WrestleVotes Radio on Sportskeeda Backstage Pass reports:

“Sources state the WWE is currently planning on having the finals of the Women’s Intercontinental Championship tournament take place on the Raw Netflix debut show, we’re told. WWE will look to have at least three advertised matches for that show, with one of them being for this Women’s Intercontinental Championship. The semifinals will take place in Houston the week before, with the finals in Los Angeles.”
