Major Return & Dream Match Confirmed At AEW Collison Taping [Spoilers]

The next episode of AEW Collision will be a newsworthy one.

The upcoming episode of Collision which will air on Saturday, March 9th was taped on Thursday, March 7th. The tapings took place at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia, the same venue that broadcast Dynamite live the night before.

Seen on the AEW Revolution pre-show, a video package for PAC aired, who has not competed since July 2023. The former All Atlantic Champion made his long-awaited return to TV at Collision, coming to the aid of Eddie Kingston after The Mad King launched a post-match attack on Kazuchika Okada and The Young Bucks.

The closing angle of the March 6th edition of AEW Dynamite saw Bryan Danielson stand across the ring from Will Ospreay, seemingly setting up a dream match in the near future. Following The American Dragon’s victory at Collision, The Ariel Assassin returned the favour and came to the ring to confront Danielson. Following the show airing on March 9th, Tony Khan announced that Will Ospreay will face Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynasty.

What Else Happened At The AEW Collision Taping?

Fans at the taping have been able to provide spoilers to the matches and segments that took place. The spoilers have been obtained via PWInsider. The results from the upcoming Collision taping are as follows:

  • House of Black’s Malakai Black, Brody King and Buddy Matthews defeated Mark Briscoe, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal in an Atlanta Street Fight. Briscoe was pinned after a powerbomb through a flaming table.
  • Mistico defeated Angelico
  • Bryan Danielson defeated Shane Taylor. Will Ospreay confronted Danielson after the match and Danielson challenged him to a match at AEW Dynasty on Sunday, April 21. Ospreay accepted.
  • Kazuchika Okada and The Young Bucks defeated Jon Cruz, Adrian Alanis & Liam Gray. Eddie Kingston attacked Okada and The Bucks after the match, but was beaten down. PAC and Penta El Zero Miedo made the save and a trios match with Okada and The Young Bucks vs. Kingston, PAC and Penta was set for the Big Business special on Wednesday, March 13.
  • Mariah May defeated Trish Adora
  • Toni Storm presented Mariah May with the first-ever Toni Award. Deonna Purrazzo attacked Storm, but May stood tall over Purrazzo.
  • Nick Wayne defeated Adam Priest
  • Christian insulted a fan and tore up the fan’s sign. The fan unmasked and was revealed to be Adam Copeland, who attacked Christian.
  • Tony Schiavone interviewed FTR. The Infantry’s Shawn Dean & Carlie Bravo interrupted. Both teams vowed to win the tournament for the vacant AEW World Tag Team titles.
  • Chris Jericho defeated CMLL’s Titan. Gates of Agony attacked Jericho after the bell, but Hook made the save.
