AEW All In is set to be the biggest show in the company’s history and the biggest wrestling show in the UK in decades. Even without any official matches announced, the sow continues to break record after record as more and more people buy tickets for the show.
With such a big show taking place in the United Kingdom, it’s natural to expect someone local to be on the show as well. That role appeared to have been filled as of earlier this week when Will Ospreay was announced for the show.
However, Ospreay is now attempting to put that rumor to bed by stating that he’s not actually confirmed for the show.
Will Ospreay doesn’t know if AEW All In rumors are true or not
Will Ospreay spoke to Fightful and explained that he’s still unsure whether he’ll appear for AEW’s big show in Wembley Stadium.
“If the rumors are true, and I am apparently a part of [All In] — I honestly don’t know — but if they are true, I can’t tell you how grateful I am.
There has been lots of back and forth regarding Will Ospreay and his involvement with AEW. Although he’s currently signed with New Japan Pro-Wrestling, he also gets regular time off to wrestle independent dates for other companies elsewhere.
Ospreay’s biggest match this year was back in January when he faced Kenny Omega at Wrestle Kingdom 17. Their match was said to be so fantastic and spectacular that Dave Meltzer rated it 6.25 stars, making it one of the greatest wrestling matches of all time.
