A new report has claimed that a huge free agent is slated to be backstage at AEW Dynamite on March 9th.
The post-Revolution edition of AEW Dynamite will no doubt be full of twists and turns in the aftermath of one of the promotion’s biggest shows of the year.
Now, a new report from Fightful Select has revealed another big development for the show as it is believed former WWE Superstar Jeff Hardy will be in attendance. However, it is currently unclear if he will be making an appearance onscreen or meeting people backstage.
Hardy has previously stated that he will be going to AEW, albeit inadvertently, during an interview with Jared Myers. He expressed his excitement about joining the promotion, though he later clarified his comments on social media saying that he had “simply set a goal” for himself.
Nothing is official, https://t.co/LtLomkmeE6 can’t be right now.I’ve simply set a goal for myself & I will achieve it…eventually?

Since Jeff Hardy made the comment, however, it has been reported that WWE will be looking into legal action against AEW for allegedly tampering with his WWE contract.
When Hardy does debut with AEW, it is expected that he’ll reunite with his brother Matt as The Hardy Boyz enjoy one last run together.
The Hardy Boyz returned to WWE at WrestleMania 33 in April 2017, capturing the Raw Tag Team Championships in a four-team ladder match. During this run, ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ would also capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championships with ‘Big Money Matt’, while also enjoying singles success as he won both the United States and Intercontinental Championships.
The Hardy Boyz are due to reunite for the first time in three years on March 12th when they face the winner of The Briscoes vs. The S.A.T at a Big Time Wrestling event.
