WWE Raw still had its head in the game in spite of one key name not being in attendance.
Fightful Select is reporting that Triple H was not in attendance backstage for the program, something that was initially a surprise to several people behind the scenes on Monday. Triple H was reportedly in a great mood for Money In The Bank on Saturday and the sources Fightful spoke to didn’t put a lot of concern towards him not being there as it was just a night away for the Chief Content Creative Officer. He’s expected to return behind the headset in Gorilla for WWE SmackDown in Madison Square Garden.
Triple H will certainly have to flex his creative muscles on Friday for what’s going to be a raucus crowd as The Bloodline continues to boil over following Money In The Bank. The Usos announced that Roman Reigns will be put on trial after “The Tribal Chief” suffered a pinfall loss to Jey Uso in the main event of Saturday’s PLE. That’s the first pinfall Reigns has taken in over three-and-a-half years.
Who Ran The WWE Raw Ship While Triple H Was Away?
Although “The Game” wasn’t playing behind the scenes on Monday, another name of note was. Bruce Prichard reportedly was in charge while Levesque was away, something that’s customary if Triple H isn’t there. Another person who was not in attendance for any of Money In The Bank weekend was Vince McMahon and the WWE Chairman was also not at “Raw.”
