AEW star dismisses WWE return.
Mercedes Mone has only risen to the top since joining AEW in 2024. Since her debut in March last year, she has won many championships and currently holds several physical titles: TBS Championship, EWA Women’s Championship, RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, CMLL Women’s World Championship, and Women’s Owen Hart Cup.
Although the former WWE star has garnered a lot of accomplishments since leaving the company and is doing quite well for herself as an All Elite, there are still some fans who clamor for her to return to the Stamford-based promotion, which Mercedes finally addressed.
After the TBS Champion posted an AEW graphic on her Instagram, she received a reply from a fan asking her to return to WWE. Mercedes Mone dismissed the plea by stating that the fan should start watching All Elite Wrestling instead.
imma need your ugly a** to watch AEW”

AEW Star Mercedes Mone Previously Took A Shot About Her WWE Character Sasha Banks
Before becoming All Elite, Mercedes was confident that she would eventually return to WWE someday due to unfinished business. However, that possibly lessened after working with AEW, whom she says was her home now. Later on, Mone doubled down on her positive relationship with the Jacksonville-based promotion.
Ahead of All In, Mercedes Mone stated in an interview with CBS Sports that the biggest difference between The Legit Boss, Sasha Banks, and her current All Elite character was that she has more control in her career and life.
She wanted it all, but she never got to hold it all. Mercedes Mone, the CEO, is everything ‘The Legit Boss’ wanted to be. She controls her life, narrative, and intellectual property.”
Mercedes Mone is now set to battle Diana Strong on July 27 in Poland to determine the inaugural Bestya Women’s Champion for the Italian promotion Bestya Wrestling.
