Lucha Brothers To Meet The Young Bucks At AEW All Out

Lucha Brothers

The Lucha Brothers will met AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks inside a steel cage at AEW All Out.

The match was finalised after Lucha Brothers defeated Jurassic Express in the finals of the Tag Team Eliminator tournament on the August 27th edition of Rampage.

The bout was pure unadulterated chaos, with bodies, entire tag teams and a dinosaur flying all over the ring and beyond. Both teams earned a string of near falls as they went all out right from the opening bell.

After Jungle Boy got the hot tag he hit a poisoned rana on Rey Fenix followed by a Tiger Bomb and the Snare Trap. Penta broke up the submission with a stiff kick to the head. After tagging in Penta landed a savage looking backbreaker following up with Made in Japan.

Fenix later walked across the ropes landing a top rope hurricanrana on Jungle Boy to the outside. The match barrelled towards a finish with Penta hitting a Canadian Destroyer on Jungle Boy on the ring apron, before Fenix repeated the trick in the ring. Somehow, Luchasaurus kicked out at one but was quickly taken out by a series of superkicks from the Lucha Brothers. The pair followed up with a huge double-team Piledriver to pick up the win.

After the match, The Young Bucks who had been watching from the ramp came to the ring to attack their new challengers but were chased off by Jurassic Express.

The tournament was set up on the August 18th episode of AEW Dynamite, after yet another controversial Tag Tam Title Match. On the show The Young Bucks defended their titles against Jurassic Express but it was far from straightforward.

Even after the Buck’s finally gained control, Jurassic Express refused to be beaten with Jungle Boy kicking out of the Indytaker. Marko Stunt tried to rally the challengers but was attacked by Kenny Omega with a chair. This in turn brought out Christian Cage, who fought off the AEW World Champion. This left an opportunity for Jungle Boy, who hit a Brainbuster on Matt on the chair.

As the match rattled towards the finish, Nick rolled Matt out of a backslide before hitting the BTE Trigger for the win. After the match the two factions continued to brawl, with Omega hitting a One Winged Angel on Christian Cage in the middle of the ring.

Later in the show the tournament and cage match were made official by AEW President Tony Khan via Tony Schiavone.
