Vince McMahon was recently involved in a horrific car accident, which saw the entire front passenger wheel of his car come off. Fortunately, no one was injured in the accident.
McMahon was later issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and is scheduled to appear in court for the same next month.
While fans and the wrestling world reacted to the incident, a report with reactions from sources within the WWE who are close to Vince McMahon has surfaced.
Internal Reactions From Longtime WWE Employees Report Vince McMahon’s Driving Was A Cause Of Concern
According to a report from Fightful Select’s Patreon, sources have indicated to them that they aren’t shocked by this, as McMahon’s erratic driving was a “joke, but serious” scenario within the company.
The report states that Vince McMahon’s driving was so erratic that people within his tight-knit circle would skip riding with him on purpose, according to sources. His advancing age isn’t a factor in this, as it has been the case for decades.
The report adds that many within the company thought that, in more recent years, McMahon preferred to be driven around and had not been behind the wheel for a while.
However, it seems that this is not the case. One source close to McMahon said that it was natural for Vince to be driven to places, and it usually happened when he was on the road, when he was working with the company, adding that McMahon enjoyed driving his car.
The source also stated that driving his car made McMahon feel “grounded ” despite owning a vehicle that cost $250,000.
