There are big things lined up in the future for Jey Uso.
As reported by Fightful Select, Uso has been described as an “integral figure” within the company and those in WWE are happy with how the storyline has played out so far.
With Roman Reigns continuing his dominant run as the Undisputed Champion, Fightful was told around SummerSlam that those around The Bloodline angle believed that the long-term story would “launch Uso into singles stardom.” With the reactions that Uso has been receiving on Monday nights, this strategy appears to have paid off.
When asked about Uso being transferred to the red brand it was stated that long-term plans have already begun. Also, expect to see the former tag team champion get a lot of screen time as part of a “heavily featured role” in the next few months that will lead to the endgame. The report concludes by stating that WWE officials have been very pleased with the reactions that Uso has been receiving from the fans.
When Did Jey Uso Move From SmackDown To Raw?
At the Payback Premium Live Event, Cody Rhodes was a special guest on The Grayson Waller Effect. Knowing how talk show segments in wrestling usually end, Rhodes elected to skip the formalities and got right to the point, stating that he had used all of his power to make Jey Uso the newest member of the Raw roster.
The surprise appearance at Payback was also a return for Uso, who had quit the company a couple of weeks prior. Following brother Jimmy Uso getting involved with Jey’s title shot against Roman Reigns, Jey declared that he was out of The Bloodline and out of the WWE.
