Logan Paul has revealed the four WWE stars he currently studies in order to become a better wrestler.
Logan Paul has received high praise from many for how quickly he has been able to adapt to life inside the squared circle. The controversial social media personality made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz to defeat Rey & Dominik Mysterio.
He later competed against The Miz in singles competition at SummerSlam. Paul was also victorious on that occasion and his impressive in-ring performances have not gone unnoticed.
On the most recent edition of his ‘Impaulsive’ podcast, the YouTuber discussed various aspects of the wrestling industry with his guest Roman Reigns, including just how hard professional wrestling is and who he is looking at so that he can improve:
“I’m having trouble with it. It is hard, feel I’m trying to learn those things. I’m watching guys like you [Roman Reigns], I’m watching Brock (Lesnar), a lot of John Cena, Stone Cold, doing my research and trying to get as versed as I can in this industry, but it is hard. I don’t have the luxury of time on my side. I’m here.
“I watched a video of John Cena watching an old match of his and it’s really interesting now, in hindsight, that he has the knowledge that he has, to critique his performance.
“It was his first performance ever. He was just watching the crowd, he was barely watching the moves, the physicality.
“It’s all about the crowd. I just came to the realization, I think WWE is harder than boxing. It’s a mental torment to consider the crowd, the moves, everything all at once. It’s absurd.”
At a press conference in Las Vegas, WWE announced that Logan Paul will take on Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on November 5th. The bout will only be Paul’s second singles match and third match in total.
