Logan Paul On Why He “Doesn’t Care” About WWE Crown Jewel Loss To Roman Reigns

Logan Paul WWE Crown Jewel

At WWE Crown Jewel on November 5th, YouTube sensation Logan Paul challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. As soon as the match was announced via a press conference back in September, all eyes were on the main event, with some fans lambasting the social media star and others such as Ronda Rousey saying that Paul should defeat Reigns and end his record-breaking title run.

Though some were still skeptical of Logan Paul despite his highly-praised bouts at WrestleMania 38 and SummerSlam, the YouTube star once again proved impressive against Reigns, delivering offense such as a lariat to rival Hangman Adam Page and a frog splash from the top rope through the announce table. Despite interference from Paul’s friends and brother Jake Paul, Roman reigned supreme, ensuring that his title run would surpass 800 days.

Logan Paul Reflected On His WWE Crown Jewel Match And Said He Doesn’t Care About Taking A Loss

Speaking on his ImPAULsive podcast, Logan Paul reflected on his Crown Jewel experience, saying that he had a “hell of a match” against Reigns and that the video he took of himself frog splashing the Tribal Chief was awesome enough that taking a loss doesn’t bother him.

“So, check it out, we just came back from Saudi Arabia, WWE Crown Jewel. I faced Roman Reigns, the face of WWE for the title, the Undisputed Universal Championship and it was a hell of a match. It was a hell of a match. The guy’s tough.

“They [Paul’s podcast co-hosts] got dragged over the barrier. It’s because they handed me the phone that I filmed myself frog splashing Roman through the table and honestly bro, I’ll take that L on the chin because I don’t care. I don’t care because that video was f*****g awesome.” (h/t POST Wrestling)

Following the bout, Paul took to social media to reveal that he’d suffered a knee injury in the match. Multiple WWE Hall of Famers praised him for his performance in his third ever pro wrestling match, with X-Pac calling him a “hell of a pro wrestler” and Nikki Bella saying he’s the “total package.”
