On April 10th, Logan Paul announced that he had re-signed with WWE.

Ahead of WrestleMania 39, the YouTube star had revealed that his contract was almost up, although he was confident that the company would offer him a new deal, claiming it would be “silly” not to.

According to ESPN, Paul has not only got a new contract, but he plans to be around for a while as it’s a multi-year deal.

Logan Paul is going for gold

Speaking to ESPN, Paul explained that the longer-term contract presents more opportunities for WWE to “get really creative” with his story. For him, part of that story includes capturing championship gold.

“It’s hard to do that when you don’t have a long contract with a piece of talent or you’re talking about putting a guy over who may not be there next year.”

“The idea with this multiyear contract was to get really creative around the story that we’re telling as my professional wrestling career unfolds. Being the hyperambitious person that I am, I’m going for a belt.

“I wouldn’t have signed this contract if I didn’t think that I was capable of getting a WWE belt. I think it’d be the coolest thing ever. I’d love to have it on my résumé, and I’d love to show every kid around the world who watches WWE that you can achieve anything.”

Since his debut match at WrestleMania 38, Logan Paul has been turning heads with his natural ability as a pro wrestler. The star has already had one attempt at a title when he unsuccessfully challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at the 2022 edition of Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia.

More recently, he faced Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39 after weeks of antagonising The Visionary. Despite coming out on the losing end of the bout, Paul said in a post-match interview that he felt “pretty good”.
