In what will mark just his third match with WWE, Logan Paul is scheduled to challenge for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Crown Jewel. The social media king will challenge Roman Reigns for the championship in the headline attraction of the premium live event.
Logan has proven countless naysayers wrong in his two prior matches, first defeating Rey and Dominik Mysterio alongside The Miz at WrestleMania 37, before then pinning ‘The A Lister’ at SummerSlam. Alongside the likes of Bad Bunny and Johnny Knoxville, he’s been credited with changing the perception of celebrity wrestling matches.
Logan Paul Wants To Wrestle Dwayne Johnson
Though he’s not even in possession of the championship yet, Logan Paul is already drawing up ideas of who could challenge him for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. Top of the list is the legendary Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Logan made the bold declaration during an interview with SPORTbible, noting that he not only wants to face the multi-time World Champion, but he wants to do so at WrestleMania:
[On who he wants to face] “Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, baby. It has to be because we have so much history. We go way back and he’s larger than life man. I like taking on those types of personalities. So it has to be Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania.”
As of this writing, The Rock is still rumoured to be returning ahead of WrestleMania 39 to set up a collision with Roman Reigns. Whether or not ‘The Tribal Chief’ will still be the defending Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at the time remains to be seen.
Logan Paul is remaining confident heading into his match with Roman Reigns, despite the drastic change in experience levels. It’s being reported that Logan’s brother Jake may make an appearance alongside him, with Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque teasing the moment during WWE’s Q3 earnings call.
