Logan Paul and John Cena were part of a promo battle on WWE SmackDown. However, The Maverick was not pleased with how the segment turned out.
John Cena and Paul are set to face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in a tag team match at Money in the Bank. While The American Nightmare and Uso were on the same page, the same cannot be said for The Maverick and the 17-time world champion, who almost got into a scuffle themselves.
Speaking on his YouTube vlog, Logan Paul expressed his displeasure that he and John Cena were not on the same page. The star revealed that he was pumped and ready to fight, while the Undisputed Champion was ready to walk away. This created a bit of confusion, leading to both stars getting knocked out by the babyfaces.
“I was so pumped to just go out there and work with Cena. Talk my s*it, I was saying some truthful s*it. I was ready to go bro. Cena just gassed me the f*ck up. He was talking about how dope I am. I was like ‘dude that’s so true.’ These people don’t realize but one day they will. Just mad ungrateful Tennessee people. I was hyped up so I wanted to fight. I was ready to f*cking go bro. I was ready to go and Cena was trying to leave. So I was like dawg, ‘I just almost beat this guy last week and I didn’t ’cause he cheated with Cody.’ We were not on the same page John and I. I know he’s the greatest and in many ways I should be looking at him as like my mentor but I personally feel like we should have attacked in that scenario. It was two on two and then we didn’t and then they got the jump on us.”

Elsewhere on the blog, John Cena and Logan Paul were seen discussing names for their WWE tag team. As they get set to face Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes, the stars discussed names such as ‘Heel Team Six’ and ‘The WWE’.
“[Logan] Wait so now that we’re a tag team do we come up with a tag team name or something? [Cena] Yeah, sure. What do you wanna be? The Human Centipede? [Logan] I was thinking Heel Team Six. [Cena] I love that! [Logan] The WWE. ‘Cause we are The WWE. It’s The WWE.”
It remains to be seen how they fare as a team at Money in the Bank.
