Logan Paul is preparing for his upcoming Undisputed WWE Universal Championship Match against Roman Reigns.
At a press conference in Las Vegas on September 17, it was announced that Logan Paul will take on Roman Reigns on November 5th at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The contest will only be Paul’s second singles match and third match in total.
The match came about after comments Logan Paul made during an episode of his podcast featuring the Head of The Table. After Roman Reigns had finished his interview, Paul claimed that he could defeat him if he was given the opportunity. In response, Reigns made his feelings known on social media. This led to an appearance on Friday Night SmackDown where the star made his challenge official.
Ahead of the bout at Crown Jewel, PWInsider is reporting that former WWE Cruiserweight Champions Shane Helms and Drew Gulak are training Logan Paul.
The controversial social media personality made his in-ring debut at WrestleMania 38, teaming with The Miz to defeat Rey & Dominik Mysterio. He later competed against The Miz in singles competition at SummerSlam. Paul was also victorious on that occasion and his impressive in-ring performances received plaudits from many.
A recent report has suggested the reason behind the WWE Universal Championship match taking place at Crown Jewel is due to Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud being a big fan of Logan Paul.
WWE Senior Vice President of Live Events, Road Dogg, has described the attraction as “the perfect match”.
