Logan Paul Tore His ‘ACL, MCL And Potentially My Meniscus’ At Crown Jewel

Logan Paul

WWE’s newest and biggest edition, Logan Paul, took on Roman Reigns at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view event in Saudi Arabia for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and a tweet from Paul revealed the extent the match took on his body.

Taking to Twitter to post a post-match picture of himself on a medical bed, with his right leg on ice, Paul revealed he had torn his meniscus, MCL and potentially his ACL halfway through his match with Roman Reigns.

Logan Paul Was Trained By Shawn Michaels Before Roman Reigns Match

Logan Paul would take to Instagram, posting “All I did was tear my ACL, MCL and potentially my meniscus.”

In preparation for his title match at Crown Jewel, only the third since joining the company, Logan Paul trained with none other than the Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels and it is rumored that Paul may well become a protégé of Michaels.

Paul has an extensive athletic background, despite being more well-known as a YouTube star, he was an All-Star linebacker on the football team in 2012 at Westlake High School and qualified for the state-level Ohio High School Athletic Association 2013 Division I Wrestling Individual Championships.

The match between Reigns and Paul was explosive, with Reigns being unable to take down the much younger Paul as he continued to hold his own against the champion. Paul managed to land a few “lucky” punches but failed to take down the Tribal Chief.

During the match Paul had his moments where he dominated Reigns, giving him time to stop for a sip and to take a video of his daring jump onto Reigns as he lay on the announcer’s table.

WWE’s Head of Creative, Triple H, is looking at the future of Logan Paul in the promotion and was unapologetic about giving Paul the opportunity to win the biggest belt in the wrestling world. Triple H is ready to have Paul join WWE for a long time to come.
