Logan Paul is heading back to WWE Raw after being challenged by a new rival.
Ricochet and Logan Paul first clashed — literally in mid-air — at the Royal Rumble, but their rivalry kicked into a new gear at Money In The Bank. During the men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match, Ricochet delivered a slightly awkward-looking Spanish Fly on Paul through two tables.
On the following episode of Raw, footage was shown of the two men brawling backstage and the former Intercontinental Champion challenged Paul to show up the following week.
It’s believed the pair will settle their differences at SummerSlam in Detroit.
Logan Paul Reflects On Money In The Bank Botch
Speaking on a recent episode of his Impaulsive podcast, Logan Paul admitted that his spot with Ricochet at Money In The Bank hadn’t gone quite to plan. The star explained that while he walked away unscathed, because of his inexperience he struggles when things go wrong, and doesn’t know how to put them right.
“Keep in mind, I’m a noob, I don’t really know what I’m doing out there. So when stuff goes wrong, I don’t really know how to improv. So in my head, I’m like, ‘This is fucked. We fucked this up. How is this gonna do this? Is he even gonna do this?’ Our legs are all twisted like this. I’m looking at him like, ‘Oh, this motherf*cker is still trying to send this shit.’ I’m not even ready, his feet aren’t even planted off the second rope, just hucks a backup.”
Following the event it was reported the spot was actually going to be used to set up a match between the pair at SummerSlam. However, when it didn’t quite go to plan and didn’t become the viral moment that WWE had hoped, creative switched plans and had a brawl backstage to set up a meeting on Raw on July 10th
